KalmTide is built to work without knowing who you are. Everything core — playing sessions, building sounds, the breathing pacer, your journal, your recorded affirmations — runs on your device with no account and no data leaving it. This page lists the few things we do collect, exactly when, and why.
Nothing. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking pixels,
no fingerprinting — in the app or on this site. Your practice journal and
listening stats are files on your device; you can export them and we
never see them. Voice recordings you make for affirmations never leave
your device. Share links encode the whole session in the link itself
(the part after # is never sent to any server).
If you use anonymous AI generation on the web, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot check, and we apply rate limits using your IP address. We don't store your IP beyond those short-lived counters.
Sign-in is Google-only. We store: your email address, a Google account identifier, your plan (free or Cloud), and the sessions you choose to sync. Synced sessions exist so your own presets follow you between the web studio and the app — they are only ever readable by your account. We never see or store your Google password; short-lived session tokens are kept server-side and expire on their own.
An account unlocks exactly two things: cross-device sync and AI generation. Nothing else requires one, ever.
The prompt you type for AI session generation is sent to our server and on to a large-language-model provider to build your session; the AI voice text you type is sent to a speech-synthesis provider to produce audio. We meter usage per account per month and cache results so repeats cost nothing. Prompts and voice texts are used to produce your result — not to build advertising profiles.
Purchases (Pro and the Cloud subscription) are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or bank details. For the Cloud subscription we store the Play purchase token so our server can verify the subscription is active.
Server-side data (account row, synced sessions, usage meters, session tokens) lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Everything else lives on your device, where the operating system's normal backup rules apply.
No selling data. No advertising. No third-party analytics. No health claims and no health data: KalmTide doesn't ask for, infer, or store anything about your medical state.
Delete any synced session from the app or web studio (deletion propagates on next sync). Sign out anywhere to drop the session token. Export your journal from the You tab.
Delete your account — permanently, in the product itself: in the Android app, open the Library tab → account menu → "Delete account…"; in the web studio, sign in and choose "Delete account…" from the account menu. Either path immediately removes your account, synced sessions, purchase records and usage meters from our servers. Sessions saved on your devices stay on your devices. If you subscribe to Cloud, cancel it in Google Play first — deleting the account doesn't stop Play's billing. Prefer email? Write to the address below from your signed-in address and we'll do it for you.
KalmTide is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
